Buried:  Fairview Pioneer Cemetery, Utah, location: Lower Section, Block 2, Lot 14.

Niels Lewis Larsen's second wife was Mary Eleanor Vance Larsen.  They had two sons together before Niels was killed in the logging accident.  The two sons were George Franklin Larsen and Lawrence Erick Larsen.  Mary Eleanor Vance Larsen lived a full life that was not easy but she sustained herself and her sons.  She is buried in the Fairview City Cemetery, pioneer section next to Niels Lewis Larsen.

Relationship to the Rev. John Lathrop

Mary Eleanore Vance Larsen is a direct descendent of the Rev. John Lathrop.  The Mormon Prophet Joseph is also a direct descendent of the Rev. John Lathrop.  Read "The Reverend John Lathrop and Mormon.  It seems clear that Mary did not know of this relationship during her lifetime.

Lawrence Erick Larsen (wife:  Ellen Brynhildur Budvarsen)

Born:  30 October 1894, Fairview, Sanpete, Utah

Married:  20 February 1918, Manti, Sanpete, Utah (Manti LDS Temple)

Died: 6 October 1918, (field hospital, Argonne Forest, France, from World War I battlefield injuries), age 24

Buried:  6 March 1921, Fairview City Cemetery, Utah, location:  upper section, U8_30_2.
