First Marriage:  Mary Catrina Olson Larsen

Second Marriage:  Mary Eleanor Vance Larsen

Niels Lewis Larsen was married twice.  At a very young age and already a widower, he was raising a young family in Fairview, Utah, when tragedy came to his life again.  One day while loading logs onto a wagon, a log flipped up catching him under his chin.  He was instantly killed thus leaving his young wife Mary to care for her two sons.  Niels Lewis Larsen is buried in the Fairview City Cemetery, pioneer section.

Niels Lewis Larsen's first wife was Mary Christena Olson Larsen.  They had one son, Lewis Mariel Larsen who died in infancy.  Mary Christena Olson Larsen died just after giving birth.  She and baby Lewis are buried in the Fairview City Cemetery in the pioneer section (see photos) next to Niels Lewis Larsen.  If anyone can provide us information on Mary Christena Olson Larsen, please contact us.

Niels Lewis Larsen's second wife was Mary Eleanor Vance Larsen.  They had two sons together before Niels was killed in the logging accident.  The two sons were George Franklin Larsen and Lawrence Erick Larsen.  Mary Eleanor Vance Larsen lived a full life that was not easy, but she sustained herself and her sons.  She is buried in the Fairview City Cemetery, pioneer section next to Niels Lewis Larsen.
