 Oluf Christian Larsen fathered 16 children.  He is the grandfather of 72 grandchildren.

Oluf Christian Larsen was baptized into the LDS Church on 6 April 1857 by Lars Larsen.  He was confirmed a member of the LDS church by Hans Oluf Magelby in Drammen, Norway. 

Oluf Christian Larsen and his first wife, Amelia Amundsen Larsen, departed 29 June 1862, from Florence Nebraska (present day Omaha, Nebraska) with the Joseph Horne Company (1862).  They arrived in the Salt Lake Valley 1 October 1862.  The Joseph Horne Company had 570 individuals and 52 wagons in the company.  Oluf's second wife, Anna Marie Pedersen was part of the Christian A. Madsen Company (1862) which departed 14 July 1862 from Florence, Nebraska.  They arrived in the Salt Lake Valley 14 July 1862.

Oluf Christian Larsen served a sentence in the Utah State Prison for practicing plural marriage from 19 November 1888 to 24 April 1889.
